The last two seasons, The Bear has meandered, failing to capture the magic that made the Chicago-based show a phenomenon. Now heading into its fifth and final season, FX decided to disrupt the formula and, without fanfare, the network dropped a special episode of The Bear last week written by Richard "Richie" Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Michael "Mikey" Berzatto (Jon Bernthal).
